Declaration of the 10th Regional Meeting on Public Education and Indigenous Communities
Indigenous educators and representatives of labor organizations from Latin America gathered in Panama on September 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2023, summoned by the Latin American Regional Office of Education International, at the tenth Public Education and Indigenous Peoples Encounter to share experiences and reflect on the struggles and challenges faced by indigenous peoples in the region.
From this gathering, a Declaration has emerged in which they outline their main demands to the governments of the region and propose lines of action for education unions in the area.
